Xiril AG is looking for a Product Manager (100%) with a technical or scientific education and a passion for product excellence. In this key position, you will be reporting directly to the head of marketing & sales. You will have the overall responsibility for the whole product portfolio (hardware and software).

Key responsibilities and assignments include:

• Responsible for the realization of product development from requirement phase to market launch, including managing the life cycle of products
• Initiate and drive R&D projects
• Track product quality
• Create and identify product requirements and product improvements (e.g. through observation of competing products and technology trends)
• Specify requirements for software development and coordinate the projects
• Create and maintain product manuals
• Support and consult sales on customer requests from a technical perspective
• Defining product pricing in cooperation with sales

Education, experience & skills:

• Technical or scientific education
• Additional education in product and project management is an advantage
• At least 4 years work experience as product manager (preferably in the field of laboratory equipment)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Ideally experience in liquid handling (robots), life science and automation (laboratory)
• Project management skills
• Technical flair
