Xiril’s product family is an ideal origin for highly sophisticated customised robotic liquid handling solutions. Based on the robust and proven platform, Xiril has developed numerous systems which add certain distinct technical features to the existing range of functional modules to meet the very specific needs of our customers. Typically it is the combination of traditional laboratory work with liquid handling functionality, robotic robustness and reliability which makes the choice of modules and some specific development a very special high performance system. It does not have to cost a fortune if simple, robust and clever technology is combined with impressive results from our R&D workshop which make you smile and amaze about its functionality.

EXAMPLES OF OUR VERSATILITY AND ENGINEERING SKILLS:
Automated Cell Culture breading station
Featuring large volume liquid handling with peristaltic pumps and fixed steel needles to pierce cell culture containers.

High throughput clinical reformatting system
Featuring the handling of special containers (urine) with pierceable but tight septa combined with barcode reading of primary and secondary tubes.

Automated Toxicology Workstation
Featuring online measurements of toxicological cell based assays under sterile and climatically controlled conditions.

Pharmacological compound preparation station
Featuring decapping/capping, resolving of solid compounds, reformatting and dilution on one system under water free protection gas conditions.

Pick and drop work station for clinical samples
Featuring a specialised gripper to handle primary tubes and sort them into analyzer vials according to a given work list while the samples are identified by a barcode reader.

Elisa Preparation Workstation
Featuring barcode reading, preparing the samples according to a work list, washing the plates and complete all necessary preparation work until the end point analysis in an ELISA reader. Sample information is passed forward to the Lab Information Management System (LIMS) or the barcode reader software to create the final report.
